ICEYE Expands World's Largest SAR Satellite Constellation
Six new satellites for ICEYE and its customers launched aboard the Transporter-14 rideshare mission

(Helsinki, Finland) ICEYE, a leader in SAR satellite operations for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) to allied nations, successfully launched and deployed six new SAR satellites on June 23 aboard the Transporter-14 mission with SpaceX from Vandenberg Space Force Base. This brings ICEYE's total launched satellites to 54. The launch, ICEYE's biggest to date, significantly accelerates the expansion of its constellation and capabilities.

All launched ICEYE satellites are 25 cm class collectors, the industry's highest fidelity. Among them is the first ICEYE satellite for the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF), marking the first operational Dutch military satellite mission. This satellite was delivered within four months of the agreement.

The launch also included ICEYE's second Generation 4 (Gen4) satellite. Gen4 satellites offer improved SAR image quality, doubling antenna size and radiated SAR power, enabling larger imaging areas (150-400 km swath width) and 30% more image detail. They also feature advanced orbit control for imaging congested areas.

ICEYE plans to launch over 20 new satellites annually in 2025 and beyond. ICEYE provides persistent monitoring capabilities for various sectors, including defense, intelligence, insurance, and disaster response. The company operates internationally with offices in Finland, Poland, Spain, the UK, Australia, Japan, UAE, Greece, and the US, employing over 700 people.
