Yidu Tech's AI in healthcare

(Tianjin, China) The World Economic Forum 2025 Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Tianjin featured artificial intelligence as a key topic. Gong Rujing Founder and Chairwoman of Yidu Tech spoke on the AI+ Era highlighting AI's role in healthcare innovation.

Yidu Tech addresses challenges posed by an aging population and unstructured medical data. Their YiduCore engine has processed over 6 billion medical records. They developed a medical large language model and an AI Middleware Platform implemented in over 30 hospitals. This platform acts as an AI Copilot Station assisting doctors in pre-diagnosis in-consultation and post-diagnosis phases. It helps with intelligent pre-consultation systems medical record generation historical data analysis and patient management improving efficiency and patient experience. From February to June 2025 the platform assisted 26000 patients.

Gong Rujing emphasized human-machine collaboration in AI development. Yidu Tech's Custom Smart Assistant on the AI Middleware Platform allows doctors to design tailored AI tools. This shifts from tool-based empowerment to doctor-led co-creation. Yidu Tech also fosters internal organizational evolution with AI agents handling 20% of daily work. China's healthcare system offers unique advantages for AI iteration despite challenges in data privacy cross-institution collaboration and technological ethics. Yidu Tech aims to drive healthcare toward greater efficiency precision and accessibility through data and AI.
